This notice describes how health information may be handled when your healthcare provider uses Scribely as part of your care.
Our role
Scribely is a technology service used by licensed healthcare providers. Your provider remains responsible for your medical record. Scribely acts as a Business Associate under HIPAA when processing information on behalf of a covered practice.
How information is used
Visit audio is processed to generate draft clinical documentation at your provider's direction. Scribely does not use patient data to train general-purpose AI models or for advertising.
Your rights
Requests to access, amend, or restrict use of your health information should be directed to your treating provider, who controls the medical record. For questions about Scribely's handling of data on behalf of a practice, contact privacy@scribely.health.
